Washington DC Metro
San Francisco

The Washington DC metro area team has been very busy performing Internal Auditing and Management Review outsourcing to several clients along with full implementation to four standards in that region (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011, and ISO/IEC 27001:2013). Our main Accredited Assessor in the DC metro region can be reached at:  Amanda also performs Internal Audits and facilitates management review meetings for several small clients who do not have the personnel bandwidth.

Our San Francisco office started up in late 2015 and has been very busy with clients in that region and supporting the rest of the SpecAudit team. If you need help in that region, contact: Scott is SpecAudit's manuals author since September 2015 and he supports several other ISO assessors.

Many companies are reaching out for their transitions to the newest standards. Your South East regional contact is:

ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 is due out in October or November. If you are currently certified to the 2011 version, you will have to start considering transitioning and not procrastinating.

January 2018

We have starting support for those clients requiring CUI and/or GDPR. If you fall under either of these, contact us ASAP.

As the transitions for 9001, 14001, and the AS9100 series come to a close in a few months, we are now focusing on the new ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 45001:2018 transitions.

Wait! What is ISO 45001? It has replaced OHSAS 18001 and all currently certified OHSAS organization have to transition to and have a certification audit to ISO 45001 by September 2020.

Last year was really a huge growth year.

As federal contractors must conform to Executive Order 13556 for Controlled Unclassified Information and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 satisfies 82% to 87% of the CUI requirements, we have had many new implementations.

Our team has transitioned or implemented over 200 clients since September 2015.

Additionally, I have had to add more assessors to my team to handle the volume of companies that are requesting transitioning to the new ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 13485:2016, and all 3 of the AS9100 series.

We helped 146 companies with ISO implementations, transitions, and certifications.

Amanda became a contract Internal Auditor for 7 companies performing internal audits for several different standards; ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO/IEC 20000-1, and ISO/IEC 27001. She does the Internal Audits twice a year which gives time for the companies to perform any corrective actions.
